BIDA ANG LGU: EXPO BOOTH
DILG Aklan, through its Aklan Provincial Local Governance Resource Center (APLGRC) and in partnership with the Provincial Government of Aklan and the 17 municipalities, proudly showcased its outstanding best practices during the BIDA ang LGU: Expo Booth Competition held at the SM Activity Center, SM City Iloilo, on October 29–30, 2025.
The exhibit highlighted innovative programs and successful local governance initiatives implemented across the province. Visitors were also treated to prizes and informative brochures featuring the tourist attractions of Aklan. Moreover, Local Chief Executives expressed their support for the celebration of the Local Government Code Anniversary through an Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) that featured their respective LGUs’ accomplishments and initiatives.
This event served as a meaningful platform to promote transparency, accountability, and citizen participation, proving that in Aklan, every LGU truly is “BIDA” in delivering excellent public service!
