DILG-AKLAN CONDUCTS ORIENTATION ON EXECUTIVE BRIEFING FOR LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVES
DILG– Aklan successfully conducted Orientation on Executive Briefing for the Local Chief Executives of the Province of Aklan via Zoom platform-an initiative of DILG-Aklan through its Aklan Provincial Local Governance Resource Center (APLGRC).
DILG Regional Director Juan Jovian E. Ingeniero, CESO III, delivered a message emphasizing the importance of leadership—stating that it provides direction, fosters accountability, and ensures that goals are pursued with a shared sense of purpose.
Meanwhile, DILG-Aklan Provincial Director Dino A. Ponsaran, CESO V, presented the policy guidelines on the conduct of executive briefings in LGUs. He reiterated that while this activity is LGU-initiated, Field Officers are ready and willing to provide technical assistance whenever needed.
The Executive Briefing is a key component of the Newly Elected Officials Performing Leadership for Uplifting Service (NEO PLUS) Program, which aims to equip newly elected officials (NEOs) with the necessary information on the current state of local governance and development priorities as they assume office.
