DILG-AKLAN FACILITATES THE CONDUCT OF VICE MAYORS’ LEAGUE OF THE PHILIPPINES (VMLP) AKLAN CHAPTER ELECTIONS
DILG-Aklan facilitated the conduct of VMLP-Aklan Chapter Elections for the term 2025-2028 at Nenette’s Garden, Andagao, Kalibo, Aklan.
Provincial Director Dino A. Ponsaran, CESO V, served as Chairperson of the Committee on Elections, overseeing the entire electoral process — from the submission of Certificates of Candidacy to the oath-taking of the newly-elected officers. He was joined by Hon. Joseph Jencon L. Flores of Altavas and Hon. Julio M. Estolloso of Ibajay, who served as members of the COMELEC.
Following the smooth and orderly conduct of the elections, the following vice mayors were elected as officers of the VMLP-Aklan Chapter:
President: Hon. Wilbert Ariel I. Igoy (Malinao)
Vice President: Hon. Patrick F. Lachica (Balete)
Secretary-General: Hon. Phillip Y. Kimpo, Jr. (Kalibo)
Treasurer: Hon. Marcosa T. Rusia (Makato)
Auditor: Hon. Stanley Leigh Macahilig (Banga)
Public Relations Officer: Hon. Mariel Cielo Coching-Sendon (Numancia)

Hon. Orlando I. Inosanto, Jr. (Madalag)
Hon. Jesus B. Quimpo (New Washington)
Hon. Femy C. Dumaguin (Buruanga)

The DILG-Aklan extends its congratulations to the newly-elected officers and expresses full support for the VMLP-Aklan Chapter in advancing effective local governance and collaboration among the vice mayors of the province.
