DILG-AKLAN CONDUCTS KP DIGITALIZATION: ENHANCING LTIA IMPLEMENTATION THROUGH KP WATCH UTILIZATION AND CY 2025 LTIA EXIT CONFERENCE
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Aklan conducted KP Digitalization: Enhancing LTIA Implementation through KP Watch Utilization, and CY 2025 LTIA Exit Conference held at the DILG-Aklan Provincial Office in Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan.
KP Watch is a monitoring system established by DILG-Aklan through the Aklan Provincial Local Governance Resource Center (APLGRC) under its “Paghutuhot” Program. It stands as one of the province’s digital innovations designed to enhance efficiency in local government service delivery.
The activity gathered Lupon Secretaries from possible provincial nominees in Aklan for the next LTIA assessment year, including Brgy. Palay, Batan; Brgy. Bacan, Banga; Brgy. Bel-is, Buruanga; Brgy. Panayakan, Tangalan; Brgy. Naisud, Ibajay; Brgy. Lilo-an, Malinao; Brgy. Guinbaliwan, New Washington; and Brgy. Mabilo, Kalibo.
Also present during the activity were DILG-Aklan Cluster Head Susan M. Balsamo, Program Manager Valerie S. Briones who represented DILG Provincial Director Dino Ponsaran, CESO V, and the LTIA Provincial Focal Persons.
The orientation and simulation underscored DILG-Aklan’s commitment to strengthening barangay justice systems and promoting innovation in local governance, ensuring more responsive and efficient services for Aklanons.
