DILG-AKLAN CONDUCTS DIGITAL POSTER MAKING CONTEST
DILG Aklan, through its Aklan Provincial Local Governance Resource Center (APLRC), conducted the first leg of the Provincial Dagyaw through a Digital Poster Making Contest held at the DILG Aklan Provincial Office Conference Room, Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan.
This year’s contest revolves around the theme, “Balancing the Scale: Nurturing Leadership without Compromising Academics,” which underscores the importance of developing responsible and well-rounded student leaders who can effectively manage both their academic and leadership responsibilities.
The activity aimed to provide a platform for students to creatively express their perspectives on leadership and governance while highlighting the values of balance, dedication, and excellence. It also served as an avenue to promote active youth participation in governance and to strengthen their appreciation of the principles of transparency and accountability.
Participating schools and organizations include: Aklan Catholic College (High School and College Departments), Garcia College of Technology (High School and College Departments), Northwestern Visayan Colleges (College Department), Infant Jesus School, Aklan National High School for Arts and Trades, Linabuan National High School, Regional Science High School for Region VI, STI College Kalibo, Aklan State University, and MOVERS.
