DILG-AKLAN PARTICIPATES IN THE CONDUCT OF EXECUTIVE BRIEFING ON THE STATE OF LOCAL GOVERNANCE OF THE PROVINCE OF AKLAN
As part of the Newly Elected Officials Performing Leadership for Uplifting Service (NEO PLUS) Program, the Province of Aklan successfully conducted an Executive Briefing on the State of Local Governance.
DILG-Aklan Provincial Director Dino A. Ponsaran, CESO V, presented the rationale of the activity. He emphasized that the Executive Briefing is a key component of the NEO PLUS Program, which aims to equip newly elected officials (NEOs) with the necessary information on the current state of local governance and development priorities as they assume office.
Governor Jose Enrique M. Miraflores expressed his commitment in implementing programs, projects and activities that will improve the quality of life of Akeanons.
Present during the activity are the elected officials and local functionaries of the Provincial Government of Aklan.
