DILG-AKLAN ASSISTS LGU-IBAJAY IN POPS PLAN FORMULATION
DILG-Aklan Provincial Office through the APLGRC assisted in the Conduct of a three-day Planning Workshop on the Formulation of the 2026-2028 Municipal Peace and Order & Public Safety (POPS) Plan on July 30, 2025 - August 1, 2025, held at Pinnacle Hotel, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.
As mandated by DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2015-128, the formulation of a Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan (POPS Plan) was determined as one of the major activities contributing to an effective response to peace and order problems.
The POPS Plan is a 3-year term-based plan that covers activities that address peace and order and public safety issues in a local government unit (LGU).
Present in the entirety of the activity, until the critiquing of the plan were Ibajay Municipal Mayor Engr. Jose Miguel Miraflores, MLGOO Katrina A. Muyuela, LGU POPS Plan Technical Working Group, together with LGOO V Jun Christian T. Guardialao and LGOO II Leny M. Dela Luna of the DILG-Aklan Provincial Office.
