DILG-AKLAN ASSISTS LGU MAKATO IN UPDATING ITS CDP
DILG–Aklan rendered technical assistance during the Training-Workshop on the Updating of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) of the Municipality of Makato, held on August 6–8, 2025 at Patio Pacific Boracay, Brgy. Balabag, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.
LGOO VI Debra Lynn I. Romero and LGOO V Cyna Marie A. Franco served as Resource Speakers, sharing technical inputs and practical strategies on the CDP updating process. LGOO VI Juvy S. Rasco, MLGOO of Makato, served as Facilitator, guiding participants through the workshop sessions, ensuring active participation.
Present during the activity are the members of the Municipal Planning Team of Makato, representing various offices and sectors of the local government unit (LGU).
The three-day capacity-building activity aimed to equip the Municipal Planning Team with the necessary knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively update the municipality’s CDP in alignment with national policies and local development priorities.
