DILG AKLAN STEPS INTO MIC ON TO AMPLIFY THE VOICE OF AKLANON YOUTH
The Department of the Interior and Local Government-Aklan, through its representative, Aklan State University (ASU), participated in the MIC ON: A Youth Discourse on Local Governance Eliminations Round held on October 16, 2025 (Thursday), via the Zoom platform.
This regional event brings together passionate young minds from across Western Visayas to share their insights and perspectives on local governance.
The Aklan State University Debating Team proudly secured a spot in the Semifinals, showcasing the intellect, eloquence, and civic engagement of Aklanon youth.
DILG Aklan takes pride in this remarkable achievement and extends its full support to ASU as they continue to champion youth participation in governance and leadership.
